The Washington Greene Health Foundation (WGHF) announces the launch of its Pilot Community Grantmaking Cycle, awarding a total of over $100,000 to 23 nonprofit organizations serving residents across Washington and Greene Counties.

Savior, UPMC Washington's therapy dog, celebrated his first birthday with staff during a special event that also marked the official launch of UPMC Washington Pet Therapy Program. Funded through a WGHF grant to VetPets of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the program brings comfort and emotional support to patients, employees, and families while promoting health and well-being across UPMC Washington and UPMC Greene.

Washington Health System Foundation, in partnership with the WCCF, will launch a free Diabetes Toolkit Program in January 2026.

We are thrilled to share that our annual Charity Ball was a huge success, raising nearly $120,000 in support of Washington Health System Foundation's mission.

Thanks to the recognition given to Mindy Zatta, the Children’s Therapy Center was able to purchase new adaptive equipment.
